A Romantic Vintage Wedding In Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario

Love happens in the most unexpected places—for Catherine and Ryan that place was the Calgary Stampede in 2008. “The funny part is that we were both from Toronto, and we were just there with friends for a good time,” Catherine laughs. “Who knew that we would each bring home more than a souvenir?” Four years later, the two tied the knot in Niagara-on-the-Lake during a ceremony at the Riverbend Inn & Vineyard followed by a reception at the Queen’s Landing Hotel. “We wanted to get married at our favourite weekend getaway location in Ontario,” Catherine notes. “Niagara-on-the-Lake screams romance, so for all the details we went for a vintage romantic feel.” Thanks to their local vendors, beautiful details such as pink floral centrepieces and elegant draping adorned the venue. “Decor details aside, the most important part of the wedding for Ryan and I was that everyone had fun. After all the traditions were complete, we partied!” Catherine shares.
