A Romantic Summer Wedding In Victoria, British Columbia
For their wedding day, Melissa and Graeme wanted a celebration that was both elegant and relaxed. The couple decided on a soft grey and blush-toned colour palette to complement the beauty of their ceremony and reception venues, both of which featured gorgeous natural surroundings.
The couple said their "I dos" outdoors with a ceremony at Starling Lane Vineyard, followed by an oceanfront reception at Brentwood Bay Resort & Spa. Melissa and Graeme's reception space was filled with candlelight and gorgeous floral details. "The flowers looked unbelievable and we received so many compliments about them!" exclaims Melissa.
When it came down to choosing a wedding song, the couple had a clear frontrunner. "We had both always been into Coldplay, but it wasn’t until the night of our engagement that the choice became obvious," explains Melissa. "Immediately after Graeme proposed, the beachfront restaurant he popped the question at played Coldplay’s “Yellow.” We danced together on the beach and knew it would one day be our wedding song."
