From the vinyl stationery to the gold record guest book, music-themed details filled Ashley and William's September wedding. "We are both big music nerds and from the moment we started planning our wedding we knew that we wanted music to be a central part of the big day," Ashley explains. "We also knew that we wanted to there to be pops of colour everywhere. We both have big, bright personalities and thought this would be a great way to make us shine through."
The couple tied the knot outdoors in front of a whimsical wall of vinyl, accented with paper flowers and gorgeous greenery. Guests were even given customized tamborines to shake in lieu of throwing confetti during the recessional!
Ashley admits to calling in a few favours to pull off the perfect celebration. "William is a seasoned saxophone player and we have a long list musician friends," she explains. "The ceremony musician was a close friend of Will’s. Will is also a member of the Big Band that played during our cocktail hour. In addition to that, Will asked a close friend to put together the reception band. And on top of all of this, we also had a DJ! We loved dancing the night away with our family and friends and to this day they all comment on how much they enjoyed all of the music."
