A Romantic Garden Wedding In Chilliwack, British Columbia

Michelle and Jesse were high school friends turned lovebirds. A couple years after they began dating, Jesse took Michelle out for a romantic dinner followed by a walk along the pier (the same pier on which Jesse had asked Michelle to be his girlfriend). As the couple approached the pier Michelle saw the words "Marry Me" spelled out on the ground with tea lights. The day Jesse proposed was also Michelle's birthday. "It was the best birthday present ever!" she exclaims.

The pair decided on a gorgeous garden celebration filled with romantic details. "I really wanted the garden to speak for itself and be the focal point of our decor," says Michelle. A colour palette of dusty rose, white, grey and silver perfectly complemented the lush greenery at the couple's venue.

When it comes to her favourite moment of the day, Michelle says it had to be when she and Jesse read their vows. "It was our first time expressing our feelings and emotions with each other, says Michelle. "It was a very heartfelt moment."
