Candice and Jeff had known each other since junior high, but it wasn't until years later that Jeff finally asked Candice out. "I figured, why not take a chance on a nice guy?" she reflects.
The couple eventually tied the knot on June 22, 2013 in front of over 300 of their friends and family members.
The bride and groom had their first dance to Al Green's "Let's Stay Together." This song was particularly special because the first time Jeff had Candice over for dinner, Al Green was the soundtrack for the entire night. Candice says she was in awe over her entire day, but was especially happy with the decor. She chose the colours charcoal grey, purple and pink to decorate her reception and ultimately she loved the romantic feeling the colours gave. The DJ was also a huge hit with their guests, with everyone packed onto the dance floor well into the night. Candice always envisioned her wedding day filled with lush, beautiful arrangements and her florist Diane made that dream come true. The arrangements were breathtaking, but the show stopper was the bride's bouquet of peonies flown in all the way from Holland.
