A Pretty Pink and Green Wedding in Petawawa, Ontario

When Jonathan Hubble decided to propose to Heather Reibin, he had to ask three people for permission: her father, his commanding officer and her commanding officer. Getting the go ahead, the military lovebirds celebrated a pretty pink and green wedding in Petawawa filled with creative details. The ceremony was held at St. George's Protestant Chapel, where Heather walked down the aisle in an ethereal Mori Lee gown. Her whimsical bouquet consisted of pink peonies, white roses and green hypericum berries. Afterwards, the bride and groom took their wedding photos against the pristine backdrop of Petawawa before proceeding to the reception at Normandy Officer Mess, which had been decorated with clusters of pomanders and miniature lanterns for the occasion. Filled with personal touches, the pink and green wedding included vibrant apple escort cards, a scrapbooking station (in lieu of a traditional guestbook) and childhood photos of Jonathan and Heather at various ages, each corresponding with a different table number. Guests at this lovely pink and green wedding enjoyed a photobooth, DJ and cupcake tower as well.
