When Stephanie and Alex met during their second year of high school in music class, neither could hear the sweet sounds of true love's calling over the lacklustre trombones which they were both suckered into playing. Luckily, before high school's end, they started dating and have been together ever since.
Years later, the pair planned a wedding day filled with flowers and earthy accents. They wanted to create a wedding theme that would feel as natural as possible. "The theme was pretty much decided once we purchased the tree slabs for the centrepieces," says Stephanie. "We saved money on buying pots and plants, doing all the signs, favours, and centrepieces ourselves," she explains.
If being together since high school was not already indicative of their compatibility, their personal vows together surely did the trick. They realized that they both quoted the exact same line from a web comic both are familiar with. Stephanie admits that the best moment of the day was when she realized they had both referenced each other as "my eternal co-op partner".
