A Modern Wedding in Downtown Toronto

After working side-by-side for a year and a half, Clare and Darren knew they were meant to be more than coworkers. “Darren claims he knew the first day I walked in,” Clare shares.
One evening after a special celebration dinner, Clare returned home and opened the door to a sea of candles that Darren’s brother set up while the two were at dinner. “I turned around, and he was on his knee,” Clare reminiscences. Knowing that they wanted their wedding to be simple and elegant, Clare and Darren hosted their big day at Malaparte at the TIFF Bell Lightbox. Overlooking downtown Toronto and the iconic CN tower, the two said their “I dos” in front of 150 of their closest friends and family. Both the bride and groom agree that the best part of their wedding was when they saw one another for the first time.
