A Luxurious Wedding In Toronto

Tony and Janice first met at a wedding, but Janice wasn’t interested. Afterward Tony continued to pursue Janice, sending her a friend request through Facebook. He even called her at work. "I was a little taken aback when I answered the phone," Janice recalls.

Fast-forward a year later, when she spontaneously accepted his friend request. After some banter through Facebook messaging, Janice realized she and Tony had a real connection. "I fell head over heels for him after the first date and the rest is history," she smiles.

The couple's engagement took place one night after dinner in New York City, the first city Tony and Janice visited as a couple. "We were visiting the Empire State Building for some photos," Janice shares. "There was barely anyone on the 102nd floor and Tony kept looking over his shoulder, so I kept looking around. Suddenly I noticed Tony was gone. For a second I thought he fainted or fell, because it was so dark, but he was actually on his knee proposing!"

For their wedding theme they chose a romantic colour palette: ivory and pink. "The shades were inspired by my love for peonies and pastels," Janice explains. "We also added hints of gold to recreate a luxurious yet elegant atmosphere."

For Janice, the best moment of the day was during their ceremony at One King West. "At first I was too nervous to walk down the aisle, but I felt so happy the minute I saw Tony, and the room filled with all my friends and family," Janice says.
