When Jessica and Antonio started searching for their perfect wedding venue, they knew they didn’t have to look far. “It was important for us to have a downtown wedding—it’s where we live and where Tony grew up,” Jessica emphasizes. During their second venue scouting session the pair found The Richmond and immediately fell in love. “From the minute we stepped inside, we knew this is where we wanted to exchange vows and become husband and wife,” Jessica shares. With 93 guests in attendance, the two celebrated the night with great music and good food. “Our guests were served wild mushroom risotto and beef tenderloin compliments of Yorkshire Pudding, my favourite catering company in the city,” Jessica says. For their honeymoon, the two were gifted with a trip to the Bahamas—a fitting choice for Jessica who works for the country’s tourism board. “My amazing partners planned a stay at the Pineapple Fields Resort and Squires Estate, which boasts century houses on an idyllic hillside overlooking the Caribbean Sea. It was absolute magic,” Jessica concludes.
