On a blind date set up by both their sisters, Marie-Michèle and Luc-Antoine realized their shy personalities and similar interests were more than just coincidence—it was love. When it came to planning their wedding, the two knew they would marry at the Fairmont Le Château Frontenac as soon as they saw its ballroom. “We wanted classical, elegant and sophisticated decor so this was the perfect setting for our wedding,” explains Marie-Michèle. The two love cozy dinners by the fire and listening to old jazz classics, so they attempted to create that same ambiance at their vintage chic reception by playing records by Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong and Frank Sinatra. “The whole day was more exceptional than we could ever have imagined—it was perfect,” the newlyweds agree.
