For their wedding day, Liz and Eliot planned a simple backyard celebration filled with personal touches including DIY decorations and flowers. "Our wedding venue was my parent's gorgeous 19th-century home, which has beautiful gardens with vibrant flowers -- a perfect match for our pastel decor tones," says Liz.
During their wedding ceremony, Liz and Eliot had a surprise awaiting them. "Eliot's father transformed into the Cat in the Hat and recited a poem by Dr. Seuss! It was a wonderful moment that injected great energy," shares Liz.
Following their reception Liz and Eliot ended their night with an outdoor dance party. "It was a perfect night dancing under the stars and a canopy of lights with our best friends and family," Liz remembers.
