When Mandy Boyd and Jamie Drew celebrated their gothic wedding, 70 guests were treated to a delightfully unusual country celebration. Both wearing black nail polish, the bride and groom exchanged vows at a lakeside cottage belonging to Mandy's parents before proceeding to Nordlaw Lodge (which had been dramatically decorated in black and red gothic wedding decorations for the occasion). Clutching a studded bouquet of calla lilies, roses and whimsical pods, Mandy wore a black and white gown with lace appliques while her bridesmaids dressed in polka-dot party frocks. Details such as skull festooned goblets and wine labels, a coffin-shaped card box and black and red signs completed the eclectic look of the gothic wedding, which included a black wedding cake topped with red roses and skeletons. Guests departed this gothic wedding with skull chocolates wrapped in miniature paper coffins.
