A Gorgeous Purple Wedding in Lake Louise

Nail proposed to Amy with an ice sculpture of a swan sitting on top of a heart etched with the words “Will you marry me Amy?” at Chateau Lake Louise’s annual Ice Magic Festival. Lake Louise’s gorgeous landscape also proved to be the perfect setting for the couple’s elegant summer wedding.

“My most memorable moment was when we were saying our vows to each other in front of everyone. Amy looked so beautiful in her wedding dress, and it was very emotional for the both of us,” Nail confides. The bride’s favourite moment of the day was the couple’s first dance. “I don't think I've ever been so happy than at that point in time,” Amy says with a smile.

The two paid homage to their roots and incorporated a traditional Russian entrance into the reception and also included a Chinese lion dance for their guests to enjoy.
