For Stasia and Christopher’s regal New Year’s Eve celebration, The St. Regis ballrooms with their ornate white ceilings, black chandeliers and lux ambiance proved to be the perfect backdrop. “We wanted our day to reflect us both as a couple and individually, which we did by creating a custom H logo for our stationery, incorporating our favourite foods, activities and music into the celebration,” Stasia shares. “We wanted our friends and family to enjoy themselves, so our goal was to make them feel involved, entertained and excited to countdown with us.”
For their reception, Stasia and Christopher created a program that would unveil a different form of entertainment every hour until midnight. “A wall of clocks served as the program for the evening. I collected them, painted and used my Cricut machine to apply quotes to each one,” Stasia unveils. “Each clock was set to a time and gave guests a clue as to what would transpire that hour.” From an International illusionist to a casino display featuring blackjack tables, craps to a champagne sabrage lead by the bride-the newlyweds were true to their word and kept everyone on their toes.
Ending the evening, and starting the new year on a high note, Stasia and Christopher surrounded their dance floor with LED globe balloons and shot off colorful confetti cannons at midnight. “Our amazing DJ helped created a party vibe that kept everyone on the dance for hours,” the pair share.
