For their summer wedding, Kelly and Todd were inspired by the Woody Allen film Midnight in Paris, smitten with the idea of evening romance and casual vintage charm. The intimate event featured a dreamy decor palette of gold, teal and moss green, and in a nod to all things Parisian Kelly surprised her groom with an accordionist who mingled in the crowd pre-ceremony. “I was hiding around the corner, waiting to walk down the aisle, and I could hear him playing,” Kelly smiles. “It made my heart flutter imagining Todd’s reaction.” Another special detail of the day was a “ring warming” ceremony where each guest took a moment to hold the rings before the couple exchanged them. “This was definitely one of the day’s most tender moments,” Kelly shares. In a day filled with fun, laughter and even a Ferris wheel (they had one as a surprise for guests during cocktails!), Kelly says the day could not have been more perfect. “It all seems like a dream, those moments we had imagined actually coming true and sharing them with the people we love most.”
