A Dusty Rose and Grey Wedding In Rapid City, Manitoba

Tannel and Dustin's romance began in college when Tannel spotted Dustin in a hallway and was immediately drawn to him. The rest of their love story wrote itself.

The couple's wedding day started off with a different take on traditional first-look photos. The groom and his groomsmen came over for what Tannel calls "first-don't-look photos" where the bride and groom are both in the photo, but they can't see each other -- staying true to the wedding day superstition that it's bad luck to see your betrothed before the ceremony.

The wedding party then headed to the lavish golf course ceremony venue, where Tannel and Dustin said their "I dos" outdoors. A lovely, rustic reception at Brandon University followed. Tannel opted for a colour palette of dusty rose and grey complemented with lace and burlap details. Reception tables were topped with wooden planters filled with fresh grass and votives alongside Mason jars wrapped in twine and filled with flowers.

After a night of dancing, Tannel and Dustin sent guests home with customized golf ball favours -- a fitting reminder of the place where the couple became man and wife.
