A Dreamy White Wedding in Calgary, Alberta
When Katie’s mother said Travis was “the one” for her daughter, Katie brushed off the idea altogether—but it turns out her mother was right after all: “She always is,” Katie laughs. It didn’t take long for Katie and Travis to realize they had something extraordinary and after three years together, he surprised her with a proposal. For their dreamy white wedding, creating a welcoming atmosphere was the first priority. “We wanted a wedding reception where people felt involved and special,” the couple explains. They both agree that the MC, Katie’s brother, was their favourite part of the day, especially since he organized a special grand exit for the bride and groom: all the guests got together to make a tunnel for Katie and Travis to walk through!
