For crafters Cassandra and Nick a handmade wedding full of personal touches was simply a must. “Nick and I were very intentional about crafting the wedding in a way that was true to who we are as individuals,” Cassandra explains. “We designed and printed our invites, packaged our own honey in jars, hand drew all the tags, cut the seat numbers out of branches and made the burlap table runners.” Adding to the sentiment of the day, Cassandra decided to walk down the aisle to a song Nick had written while they were dating entitled “For Somebody Someday”. “I love the lyrics because they speak of true lasting love. The song makes me love him even more,” Cassandra admits. “The whole esthetic and demeanour were true to us as a couple, and the people who surround us—we were so blessed to share the day with our friends and family.”
