Passion and personal touches were central to Alise and Nathan’s beautiful yellow and grey vintage wedding day. The couple, who met at a mutual friend’s birthday party, celebrated with 140 friends and family at The Glendale Golf and Country Club—a lush green golf club that was perfect for their vintage wedding day. The celebration was filled with personalized details, ranging from Nathan’s handwritten vows (which he expertly memorized) and the couple’s choice of wedding song (“Sparks” by Coldplay from the soundtrack to one of their favourite movies Wedding Crashers) to Alise’s genuine vintage wedding veil, a gift from her grandmother who had worn it to her own wedding 56 years ago. “After giving the veil a little TLC, it was a perfect match for my dress,” Alise explains. “It was such a special thing to be able to wear it on my wedding day.”
