Lindsey and Justin first met in high school but never hung out in the same crowd. Years later Lindsey happened to find Justin on Facebook and noticed that he had just moved to Ottawa. She took a chance and started chatting with him online and the couple started dating not too long after.
For their big day Lindsey and Justin hosted a classic-meets-modern celebration complete with romantic candle lighting and stunning Rose de L’Esperance centrepieces. For their first dance the couple chose "This Year’s Love" by David Gray. "There was something about the melody that drew us to drop what we were doing and dance to it in the middle of our living room," Lindsey says. "When the song was over, we both just knew that was the one. It gives me chills every time I hear it!"
The couple says the best moment of their special day was the five minutes they took to themselves to step away from the celebration and acknowledge they were finally married. "I don’t think either of us had ever felt so in love as we did in that moment," Lindsey admits.
