Inspired by their winery venue, Melissa and Scott planned a wedding colour palette featuring deep rich wine tones, cream and a variety of greenery. “Our shades and floral arrangements complemented the venue nicely and were the perfect addition for a fall wedding,” Melissa explains. “We wanted to make sure that whatever we chose, we would look back at our photos in 20 years and still think it was beautiful.”
Bistro-style seating arrangements and cocktail tables greeted their guest list of 40 upon arrival. “Although our original plan was to have a traditional cocktail reception and sit-down dinner, we wanted to ensure that we could chat with all our guests and because our ceremony was at 6 PM during sundown, we felt like the service would’ve been too rushed,” the pair explain.
As part of their details, Melissa and Scott treated their friends to a champagne wall featuring a neon sign with the words ‘love love love’. “That was super fun and provided by our caterer: Eatertainment,” Melissa reminisces. “One of my other favourite details of the day was my bouquet. It was beautiful, but what made it special were the photos of my grandmother, who is no longer with us, it felt like she was a part of the day.”
