A Classic, Elegant Autumn Wedding in Toronto, Ontario

It was love at first sight for Amanda and Matheus who met each other during a meet up with friends. “The moment he walked through the door I thought to myself, ‘I am going to marry this guy one day’,” Amanda laughs. “Turns out, Matheus saw me and thought the exact same thing.”

Fast forward five years later, Amanda and Matheus’ love story continued as they tied the knot at St. Mary of the Angels Parish in Toronto. “Walking down the aisle into his arms was surreal and the most perfect moment in the entire world,” Amanda divulges. “Exchanging vows was incredible. I could sit in that moment over and over again.”

To celebrate their day, the pair chose La Primavera Event Space, a traditional hall that would cater to all 190 guests. “We had a mix of Italian and Portuguese wedding foods,” the newlyweds share. “Food was out of this world, and everything went smoothly.” In addition to the food, guests were privy to a delectable double-sided cake, with one side covered in traditional fondant and the other in the grooms’ favourite shows and movies. “It was my surprise to my husband and he loved it. We were obsessed, everyone couldn’t stop taking photos.” Following cake-cutting and speeches, the two whisked guests onto the dance floor for the remainder of the evening. “We danced all night long,” the two smile. “It was the best day of our entire lives and filled with so much love and happiness that we danced until early morning!”
