With its historical charm, Auberge Saint-Gabriel sets the tone for this classic and elegant wedding. The couple requested their wedding planner render the stone-clad reception hall more romantic and modern by adding softer elements to the decor. The bride explains her choice: “The room as a whole is old, dark and rustic. To contrast the dark stone walls, we opted for a lighter color palette, with shades of white and pink."
Julia describes herself as creative and emotional, while Philipp is more practical and straightforward. "That's why we chose the combination of playful flowers and clean modern lines, like the arch for the ceremony and the geometrically shaped candle holders on the reception tables."
The bride’s Coco Melody wedding dress was the perfect complement to Julia's artistic side, as the opening in the back allowed her to show off her impressive tattoo. And her husband was very elegant (giving us Clark Kent vibes) in his Waxman suit. With the Auberge being located in the heart of Old Montreal, the newlyweds didn’t need to venture very far to find fabulous spots to capture some incredible memories with their photographer.
