Bride Nataly admits she’s not a “detail-oriented girl,” but soon after becoming engaged to Dominic she stumbled upon the perfect wedding venue by chance. “I was attending an amateur bossa nova show, which ended up being less than stellar, and I spent a lot of time looking at the venue and admiring the space,” Nataly explains. After the show Nataly approached some of the waiters and asked about their wedding offerings. The package that won her over included the hall, the catering, the cake, the equipment for the band, and a maître d’ to oversee the party. For Dominic, it was Lion d’Or’s extensive wine list that sealed the deal. On their special day, Nataly herself took the stage to serenade Dominic with an a cappella rendition of “In My Life” by The Beatles. “Since I know my husband likes to hear me sing I thought nothing would be a sweeter gift,” Nataly explains. “I’m glad to report I was able to make it till the end before shedding my tears at the last words of the chorus.”
