Loukia and Roy only lived a few blocks away from one another, but only met after Loukia's sister introduced the two at a group get-together one night. "From then on we spent lots time together and quickly became good friends, enjoying strolls along Dallas Road and cooking tasty meals for each other," Loukia shares. "I guess you can say we won each other over with food and cuddles!"
To honour Loukia's heritage, the couple exchanged vows in a traditional Greek ceremony at the stunning Greek Orthodox church in Victoria. The aisles were lined with bunches of pink peonies and the bridal party made their way to the front of the church accompanied by the sounds of cellist, Katrina Andres.
Loukia's beautiful, romantic Pronovias gown perfectly suited the soft, pastel colour scheme she chose for her decor. Everything from bouquets to bridesmaids dresses fell into the soft pink and ivory colour palette, with touches of turquoise (like in Roy's tie) for an added pop of bright colour.
The couple say they couldn't be happier with how their day turned out. Loukia was especially happy with their photographer, Courtney Clarke. "She really helped us stay in the moment," Loukia expressed. "With her wisdom and ingenuity she captured so many moments that we’ll cherish forever."
