A Cheerful Yellow And Blue Destination Wedding In Bermuda

Just Married

With Hannah being from Canada and Theron from Bermuda, it was by chance that the two crossed paths. They both attended the same school in Fredericton, New Brunswick and that’s where sparks flew for the first time.

For their big day, Hannah and Theron decided on a destination celebration in Bermuda filled with cheerful yellow and blue accents.

The couple’s wedding day started with a downpour of rain. Everyone was nervous since they opted for an outdoor ceremony, but Theron insisted that the weather would clear up in time. He was right — the sun appeared just before the ceremony was about to begin.

The couple’s ceremony took place at The Unfinished Church in Bermuda. “We didn’t decorate for the ceremony and I’m glad we didn’t because the natural beauty of the church was breathtaking,” said Hannah.

An outdoor reception followed at a local historical site. The tented reception space was filled with Chiavari chairs, buntings, blue and yellow linens and nautical details. “Theron’s mother hired a decorator and we hadn’t seen anything beforehand so I was overwhelmed with how amazing the place looked. It was more than I had envisioned,” remembers Hannah.

“The entire evening felt as though it was a few minutes long, we were so sad to see the day come to an end,” said Hannah.”It was a great effort on many peoples parts, everyone came together and really showed us so much love and support. We could of not done what we did without our families and friends.”
