Taren and Anthony always knew they wanted to get married in the mountains. "We chose the Juniper Hotel as our venue because it had the rustic feel we wanted for our day," Taren explains. "In terms of wedding colours, we wanted something warm that would go with our rustic mountain feel so Merlot and grey seemed to be very fitting."
Taren walked down the aisle in a gorgeous Vera Wang gown and she admits that seeing Anthony waiting for her at the altar was one of the most magical moments of the day. "Seeing each other for the first time that day was an amazing moment because we knew this was the moment we had waited so long for," Taren shares.
Great food and music were central to Taren and Anthony's reception. "We are both foodies and Anthony loves cooking, so it was important to get this right," Taren explains.
As the sun dipped behind the mountains, the couple danced on the terrace with their family and friends gathered around them. "We danced the night away to all 50 of our carefully chosen songs, " says Taren. "We wanted the vibe to feel like being at a quaint restaurant with our 70 guests, and that is exactly the way it felt."
