A Beach Themed Wedding in Brandon, Manitoba

Surfers Nadia and Dean turned to the shore for inspiration for their beach themed wedding. "As both Dean and I surf, we decided to go with a surfboard sign in/guest book," explains Nadia. "It's something we can hang on the wall and remind us of that special day," she adds. This Manitoba duo didn't let their landlocked location take away from their vision. The beach themed wedding celebration kicked off at the Grand Valley Campground where the bride walked down the aisle with a bouquet of tropical blooms. The celebration then continued at Sokol Hall, where guests enjoyed a cake topped with starfish, and favours packed in palm tree-adorned tins. Tones of green and purple contributed a whimsical feel to the beach themed wedding, injecting a touch of the tropics.
