A Baseball-Themed Wedding

Meghan and Jason are huge baseball fans so when it came to their wedding day, the two really knocked it out of the park.

"The main colour was royal blue to match the colour of our favourite team, the Toronto Blue Jays," explains Meghan. "Our most memorable times together always involve baseball so we thought this theme was true to us, and would allow us to have a really fun, laid back day."

The couple worked their unique baseball theme into every aspect of their wedding day, from the groom's baseball boutonniere and the bride's baseball pumps to the score card wedding programs and pennant flag centrepieces. The couple had a home plate at their altar and even had "let's play ball" inscribed on their wedding rings!

Meghan says one of her favourite wedding day memories was seeing all of her bridesmaids enter the reception escorted by the Toronto Blue Jays’ mascot, Ace. "He was dancing with the girls and high-fived all the guys coming in. It was really memorable," she recalls.
