Organic Skincare

In Friday's post I talked about my vacay to Antigua, and one find I made while there I had to share. For me hotel bath products can be a hit or miss. I'm not a fan if they're too fragrant, bad quality or too small (it's like you have to use an entire bottle per shower!), so I was over-joyed in my discovery at Carlisle Bay. Made in the UK, REN is a skin care company that's all about quality ingredients, that work beautifully. The problem for many is with some organic or eco-friendly skin and hair products is that they don't work like you're used to. For example, an eco-friendly shampoo doesn't foam like you expect it to because they removed the unfriendly ingredient (sulfur) that causes it.

What I loved about REN was that I didn't feel they compromised on the ingredients and how it performed. The shampoo felt like it cleaned and the body lotion hydrated. All of their products don't use any skin un-friendly products like parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances or colours. Plus they don't use irritants (like glycols, PABA, or aluminum and more) and don't test on animals. How amazing is that? Since they're UK-based, ordering online is your best bet, but don't worry they ship internationally! I want to start switching to more eco-friendly products, so I'm definitely going to try more from REN thanks to testing a bunch out on vacay. Where to start? A fave I've been reading about is the Moroccan Rose Otto Sugar Body Polish - sounds divine! Do you use eco-friendly or organic products? Would you use more if they were good?
