When you think of a Las Vegas wedding the glitzy lights of The Strip, Elvis impersonators, slot machines and all-you-can eat buffets might immediately come to mind. However, these tired clichés have little to do with the modern city that draws thousands of couples to tie the knot here year after year. Today, Las Vegas is known more for its variety than its kitsch, and the city's close proximity to the desert is especially alluring for lovebirds planning boho-chic destination weddings.
To get the inside scoop on the prettiest Las Vegas wedding photo shoot locations, we tracked down one of the city's top wedding photographers, Gaby Jeter of Gaby J Photography, whose gorgeous, ethereal images are reason enough to book a wedding abroad.
"I try very hard to steer away from shooting on The Strip. I love more natural, vintage and rundown locations so I suggest these different locations to my clients," says Jeter. "There is just so much to see and do in Las Vegas! You could go out exploring in the desert, mountains, and trails during the day and then go party your night away in old downtown Las Vegas! There's something here for everybody and it's also a perfect honeymoon location."
