South Beach

I just returned from South Beach this past long weekend and had a relaxing stay at The Setai hotel (setai.com). LUXE had planned Shelly and Ben’s last minute “switch” wedding at this Miami hot spot only a few weeks ago, and I can honestly say that this is a phenomenal location for a wedding. The hotel is architecturally stunning, and it exudes a very Zen vibe throughout.

South Beach

South Beach, as a destination wedding location, offers so many possibilities in regards to accommodation for your guests. Just stroll down Collins Avenue and you’ll easily be impressed by such swanky spots as The Shore Club (shoreclub.com), The Delano (delano-hotel.com), The Gansevoort (gansevoortsouth.com), or the new boutique spot on Ocean Drive, The Betsy (thebetsyhotel.com). And that’s just a minor sliver of hotels—the list goes on and on.

Personally, I would consider a poolside or rooftop terrace location for a ceremony in South Beach as it’s a very large and busy beach, and if you’re a bride and groom in need of privacy, then this would be a better option indeed. And since there are so many great restaurants and bars in town, you have endless choice for rehearsal dinners, cocktail parties and post wedding brunches.

Look no further than South Beach if you want a taste of home as part of your destination wedding.
