Dreaming of a destination wedding and honeymoon in The Bahamas when it's safe to travel? The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism has lots of news to share about the islands and romantic travel this year and into 2022 and are hosting a virtual event, From The Bahamas With Love, to inspire your wedding and honeymoon planning. All attendees of will have the chance to win one of 16 romantic couple experiences, including an all-expenses-paid romantic getaway to The Bahamas and a destination wedding or vow renewal.
“With intimate, secluded cays, unmatched turquoise waters and pink- and white-sand beaches, it's easy to understand why The Bahamas is considered one of the world’s most romantic destinations,” says Joy Jibrilu, director general of the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism & Aviation. “With so many offerings available, we are thrilled to connect consumers to experts across a number of industries through our virtual romance expo experience to ensure the ease of planning a romantic Bahamian getaway, especially after so many plans were upended this last year.”
From The Bahamas With Love is set for March 10th from 4pm to 7pm EST and you can register here. The event will feature discussions with the world’s leading wedding planning and travel experts who will inspire your wedding planning and help you turn your destination and honeymoon dreams into reality. From The Bahamas With Love will feature an engaging series of panel discussions with experts from across all romance industry sectors (including Weddingbells’ Editor-in-Chief Alison McGill), along with opportunities to network directly with partners. Those attending will enjoy a literal “taste” of The Bahamas from home via the following activities and experiences.

Romance Reimagined: Moderated by Bridgette King, executive director with the Bahamas Ministry of Tourism; and featuring panelists Jena Conway, director of weddings and special occasions at Atlantis, Paradise Island, Gilda Noboa, director of sales and marketing for USA and Canada, Viva Wyndham; Desiree Moxey, director of events for Baha Mar Grand Hyatt.
Romance Me in The Bahamas: Moderated by our Weddingbells’ Editor-in-Chief Alison McGill this discussion will focus on why the islands are the perfect romantic travel escape.
