Weddingbells Judges the Royal Cake Competition on The Marilyn Denis Show

Weddingbells Judges the Royal Cake Competition on The Marilyn Denis Show

If you tuned into CTV this morning at 10:00 am, you may have spotted my cameo appearance on The Marilyn Denis Show. My job? Having the difficult task to judge, along with Bonnie Gordon and Catherine Lash (pictured above), three gorgeous wedding cakes (half of which were prepared live on set). The criteria was based on three key components: uniqueness, overall appearance and ties/inspiration to the royal wedding. All three: the Caketress, Flour Fancies and Fabulous Cakes and Confections were fierce and talented competitors. The outcome? Three beautiful wedding cakes, each with their own uniqueness and style. It was a tough, TOUGH decision. One that the judges and I had deliberated throughout the entire segment. As all competitions however, there could only be one winner, which went to the Caketress who created a confection that was an incredible work of royal sweet art.
