A Save the Date, or as the girls in our forums like to call it STD, is one of the most important things to think about when it comes your celebration–whether it's via digital and/or print.
A destination wedding in particular always calls for an earlier save the date, as most guests need advance notice to book days off (the sooner the better!). For those of you celebrating at home, a typical save the date is sent around four to six months prior to the ceremony. Why is it so important? Simply put, it's a nice and formal way to let those you know (whom you haven't seen in awhile, such as your far away relatives) that you are tying the knot. It's also a great way to set the tone and mood of your wedding. Trying to find a stationery style that right's for you? We've got 20 inspiring invitation themes for you to peruse through.
