While it's not a mandatory part of the planning process, attending a wedding show can be a great place for ideas, finding that perfect vendor, or even scoring a deal. Every January, bridal shows pop up all over the country from Victoria to Halifax.
While shows vary in size it's best to have a plan of attack before you show up. Here are some basic things to keep in mind:
1. Make a plan. Find out what vendors are attending and plan to visit them first. 2. Walk the show entierly then return to booths you were most interested in. 3. Don't bring the whole gang. Your maid of honour, mother or even groom are more than enough. 4. Wear comfortable shoes. You'll be walking and standing a lot! 5. Don't feel pressure. There's no need to take business cards, book anything on the spot in you're not 100% sure. You can always come back!
