Since 1981, Charles and Diana's wedding had been the biggest in the history of the House of Windsor. The pair stepping out of St. Paul’s Cathedral after their “I Dos” was a moment over 750 million viewers around the world celebrated. On April 29th, William and Kate will have their moment and trust me, this wedding will be much bigger than Charles and Diana’s, and usher in a young, fresh, modern era in the monarchy.
A little trivia for you about Royal Weddings: did you know the kiss Charles and Diana shared on balcony of Buckingham Palace was the first time royal newlyweds had locked lips publically. It is tradition for all royal couples to appear on the palace balcony, but never before had a smooch been shared. Watch for William and Kate’s kiss—not only do I think it’s guaranteed, but will become one of the most iconic images of the century.
