One thing we especially love about micro-weddings and even elopements is the chance it gives you to step outside your comfort zone when it comes to decor. An intimate guest list can give you the chance to splurge on ensuring your details are picture-perfect and speak to your personality.
That's what Stephanie and Beth of Sweetheart Events had in mind when putting together this gorgeous styled shoot. "The inspiration for this shoot came from an art piece," they share. "We wanted to step out of the norm and comfort zone of the neutral wedding palette."
Neutral warm woodsy tones were complemented by minimal table accents and pops of colour throughout the details in the napkins, table linens, glassware and custom backdrop. Cocktails inspired by the florals tied the whole theme together.
A real-life couple served as models for the shoot, with the bride's dress hand-sewn by Stesha Ho, a local Vancouver dress designer known for her intricate detail work and elegant designs. The second outfit, a jumpsuit from Club Monaco, is a stylish and fun option for brides—and totally something we recommend for a micro-wedding.
