Tea Time

  |  By Roseanne Dela Rosa
Tea Time

My first encounter with high tea happened a few years ago at the Four Seasons. I had just started working at Weddingbells when I found out that we were going out to celebrate a baby shower. When I first heard where we were going, my initial reaction was–uh oh!

No.

Tea Time

You see, I've heard of the idea (which I only thought only happened in England), but never knew you could take part in such an experience. Anywho, it turned out to be better than I could've imagined. The atmosphere was light, attire was pretty casual, and the food, oh the food, was simply amazing not to mention there delicious selections of tea. Thus, brings me to my post for today. I was searching for images of the Cupcake Deck (I'll be posting about this later on) when I stumbled upon this quirky image. This room is from the Crown & Crumpet, which is this awesome tea room located in Ghiradelli Square in San Francisco. It looked so fun and is totally a great venue/idea for a bridal showers or bachelorette, don't you agree? I know the trek to San Fran might be long (and pricey!) so here are few recommended tea venues across Canada:

The Secret Garden

Empress Hotel Victoria BC

Lougheed House

Le Royal Meridien King Edward

Windsor Arms

Hôtel Le St-James

Blomidon Inn
