A Super-Scenic Ontario Venue You'll Want To Book Immediately

  |   By Jean Grant

After being closed for years of renovations, the 175-year-old Elora Mill will officially re-open this summer (on July 6th, to be exact) as a positively stunning hotel, spa, restaurant and event venue perched on the cliffs of Elora’s Grand River. The former grist mill now has everything couples need to host a picturesque small-town wedding—without sacrificing any amenities.

Depending on the size of their nuptials, couples can host their reception in either The Grand room or The Irvine room. The former is massive (it can hold 200 seated guests), with twinkling chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the river. The latter is more intimate, with stone walls, a beautiful sun room and windows overlooking a private courtyard. Guests will love the local farm-to-table cuisine, the town’s distinct charm, and, possibly most of all, getting to nurse their hangovers in the cliff-side spa the next day.
