Sedum is an amazing flower that changes colour as the season progresses. It starts to become available in early August in a fresh green colour. As the season progress it changes to a soft pink, then a rosy pink, and then rapidly darkens to a burgundy. The season typically finishes right after Thanksgiving.
If you are getting married in August or September, I urge you to try and take advantage of the uniqueness and simplicity of sedum. I was so proud of how well it blended with the white wax flower, dahlias and hydrangea in this gorgeous August wedding. The arrangements are irresistibly modern and garden-y! I really do love my job. :)
