Simple Flowers

  |   By Roseanne Dela Rosa

Hey, you know what? I think it’s completely normal if you don’t want too much wedding decoration at your actual reception. Sometimes, simple really is best, and if it’s not in your personality to have a lot of frill then why bother?

Simple Flowers

With that being said, I think it’s just as important to not leave your room completely blank. Add a few centrepieces here and there, and you can pretty much get away without any added extras. I was inspired by this reception set-up created by Yvonne Floral Design (yvonnefloral.com). Rather than having one major centrepiece, Yvonne decorated the venue to showcase mismatched floral arrangements. Who ever said that you needed a string of uniformed centrepieces? In fact, I think it really gives your venue character. Don’t be afraid to have a variety of different centrepieces at each table–just as long as the hues work together, it should definitely paint a pretty picture.
