Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting Palettera–this amazing Unionville-based stationery shop specializing in digital and letterpress designs. For me, this visit was just as good as stepping into a sweets shop–everything in their store was pure eye candy. From their pretty papers to their social greeting cards (which are all unique as they crank out one or two different designs a week) to fun buttons/magnets to their beautiful (and I mean beautiful) wedding invites–this store has definitely got that cool yet zen vibe going for them. Whether it's an elegant style or something more upbeat and mod that you're looking for, the creative team at this neat company are certainly capable of whipping together a wedding invitation to your liking and, most importantly, to your budget. To show just how talented and creative they can be, here's an example of a seating chart that they did for a couple who happened to be major car fanatics:
Rather than your classic seating chart, Palettera and the couple opted to number their tables with car parts. Cool, huh?
Another great idea stems from Deborah's (the owner of Palettera) wedding. Being a huge design pro and wanting to pay homage to their guests, Deborah and her husband opted to create a simple program that included all their guests' names in the background.
If you do happen to be in the Unionville/Markham neighbourhood, I do recommend stopping by, as these photos don't do their work/shop justice. And, if you are on the hunt for wedding invitations, be sure to book an appointment in advance to ensure you get the best service.
