Pretty Little Details

These gorgeous pieces by Ashley Meaders are both extraordinary and beautiful. Love that all her items have that DIY touch. Her tagline: “I Make Stuff” is certainly true to what she does–she creates original handmade decor items that aren’t of the norm. This delectable pancake setup was an inspiration shoot created for Design*Sponge as part of Once Wed’s Beyond the Big Day monthly column. Here’s what she had to say in regards to the setting: colorful paper mobiles were created to hang over the table at a park down the street from us. We found vintage syrup containers at a local antique store along with a pretty cool pink radio.

Ashley created a custom backdrop made for the Smilebooth out of pink paper and fabric garland.

Ashley created this cake topper for a photo shoot for Design*Sponge and Once Wed with Joy Thigpen, Amy Osaba, and Chocolate Pink.

Ashley made a handmade flower installation for Kelsey and Brett’s wedding at the Trolley Barn. She decided to use both fabric and paper to create the hanging centerpiece for the ceremony.

This was a swing that Ashley made for Max and Margaux’s wedding out of fabric. There were also little sticks with fabric hearts on them that were scattered throughout the yard.
