A romantic wedding vibe never goes out of style, and there's nothing we love more than classic details with a contemporary twist. That's exactly what the team at Blush & Bowties accomplished with this beautiful styled shoot at the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto, with Artiese Studios behind the lens to capture every angle of this stunning vision. "Walker Court, inside the Art Gallery of Ontario, has always been one of my very favourite spaces in Toronto," says Alexandra McNamara, founder of Blush & Bowties and the creative director behind the shoot.
With the venue's high ceilings and generous natural light, McNamara brought her eye for old-world European influence into the space. "I've been lucky enough to travel to Italy many times and I was inspired to bring the feeling of an Italian alfresco dinner to Walker Court," she says. "To me, the shoot is an expression of classic Italian meets modern simplicity—I longed to explore the intimacy of an Italian alfresco celebration juxtaposed with contemporary artistry of the AGO." With amazing florals from White Oak Studio, which are the perfect mix of structural and soft, this styled shoot delicately balances soft details with architectural lines.
