An Outdoorsy Stationery Brand In Victoria

  |   By Jean Grant

Folksee, a stationery company based in Victoria, harnesses the beauty of the B.C. wilderness to create beautifully simple designs. Owned by graphic designer and photographer Lauren Legatt, the online shop focuses on customizable formats for wedding invites, table numbers, menus and place cards. After purchasing their favourite design on Etsy, couples are sent a link through an application called Templett, where they can edit the text and add any other details before downloading the finished product and taking it to the nearest Kinkos or Staples. An elegant invitation set, tastefully decorated with just the right amount of ferns and flowers, will run couples around $35, while this stormy save-the-date card is $10—and proves potential rainfall can be kinda pretty.
