When I first heard about one-tier wedding cakes, I must admit, I had my preconceived notions about them. I couldn’t visualize how a one-layered cake would look without automatically picturing those typical Baskin Robbins or Dairy Queen cakes (which I love!). I just didn’t see it as being elegant enough. So, to prove myself wrong, I went out to find one—and I did!
