New Wedding Show Airs Tonight!

Trust us when we say Cake Walk: Wedding Cake Edition (premiering at 9 p.m. ET this evening on Slice) is one bridal show not to be missed. Hosted by the charming Caroline Rhea, Cake Walk: Wedding Cake Edition is a competition between three professional Canadian cake designers competing for a $5,000 prize and the glory of winning against fellow designers to create one bridal couple's dream cake–all within a limited time. Expect gorgeous cakes (perhaps inspiration for your own wedding?), a nerve-wrecking competition amongst designers and a panel of three extraordinary judges to give their input, and, ultimately, decide the winner. Weddingbells had the pleasure of going behind-the-scenes, where we met and spoke to judges: Alexandria Pellegrino (owner of Cake Opera Co. here in Toronto), David MacCarfrae (owner of David Cakes of Distinction in England) and Gordon Bailey (owner of Lot 30 in PEI).
