Lollipop Lollipop

  |   By Roseanne Dela Rosa

I love hearing did you know facts. Because more than half the time, I don't know. Yesterday I saw a fascinating tweet from foodimentary who tweeted:

Did you know that the lollipop was first patented in 1931? The name came from a famous race horse at the time, Lolly Pop.

I don't know about you, but I found that fact so exciting. Inspired by my new found knowledge, I went on the hunt for the perfect lollipop wedding favour. Instead, I ended up getting sidetracked by Bakerella's latest creation–ice cream cone cake pops, which I think are just as "cool" and amazing as lollipops. Yum!
